Actress-singer Selena Gomez has been advised by her family to undergo therapy and stay with them to help her get over her ex-Justin Beiber.
The 21-year-old star, who cancelled her Australian tour recently to spend time with herself, has reportedly been in "bad place" post her break-up with Beiber earlier this year.
The couple had been together for two years, reported Contactmusic.
"Her family stepped in and basically advised her to either go to therapy or stay with them so they could watch over her. Her team agreed that family time would be best," a source close to Gomez said.
"Dealing with her breakup from Justin has still been affecting her and she's been in a bit of a bad place recently," the source added.
After cancelling her trip, the 'Come and Get' artist intends to spend some time with Taylor Swift who had suggested her to stay away from Beiber and did not support her link-up with the 19-year-old music sensation.
