Family of five killed by unidentified assailants

A couple and their three children were allegedly killed by unidentified persons in Tehra village in Hafizganj area here today, police said.

While body of Succha Singh (50) was found in a field near his house with a bullet injury on his back, the bodies of his wife Jaspreet SIngh Kaur (42) and children--Aanshu (12), Gurdayal (14) and Hardayal (10)-- were found in the house, they said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said, adding the matter is being probed.
