Following the recent communal clash here, Additional Deputy Commissioner Faridabad Aditya Dahiya and SDM Ballabgarh Priyanka Soni today visited the make-shift relief camp at the Ballabgarh police station and took note of the arrangements made for the affected families.

Dahiya assured the victims of providing security and urged them to return to their homes, but they did not relent.

He issued instructions to District Red Cross Society, police officials, health department and Municipal Corporation to do everything possible to take care of the affected people.

Paramilitary forces were beefed up to avoid any untoward situation even as section 144 remains in force in the village.

Sources said efforts are on to negotiate peace between both the sections of the society.

At least five persons were injured and around 15 houses gutted after a clash erupted between two communities over construction of a religious structure in Atali village here, following which the district administration has beefed up security.
