Kisan Mahapanchayat, a farmers' body here, today said they would hold a demonstration near the state assembly during the next session and accused the Rajasthan government of "ignoring" the demands of farmers.

The body also asked state government to pass a resolution to implement the recommendations of National Farmers Commission (2004).

Rampal Jat, Mahapanchayat's national president also accused the BJP government in the state of ignoring the demands of farmers.

He said the government should start taking pro-farmer decisions and roll back the hike in electricity tariffs.

"The farmers should be free from all kinds of loan and in this direction, the government should implement Farmers commission - 2004 report from August 15, 2007," he told reporters here.
