Father-son duo killed in road mishap in UP

A father-son duo was today killed when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with the official vehicle of SP Lakhimpur in Hargaon area, police said here.

Anil (28) and his son Sachin (6) sustained serious injuries when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with the official car of SP Lakhimpur Akhilesh Chaurasia on Sitapur Lakhimpur road, they said.

Anil and Sachin died while being taken to the hospital, police said.

Station Officer Hargaon Ramesh Yadav said that the car has been brought to the police station, while bodies have been sent for postmortem.
