Female leopard dies due to lung infection in UP: Official

An adult female leopard died due to lung infection in Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh, a forest department official said today.

"According to the post-mortem report, the female leopard found dead in the jungles of Manikpur died due to lung infection. The leopard was an adult," District Forest Officer R K Tripathi said.

The leopard died 2-3 days ago. A team of three veterinary doctors conducted the post-mortem examination last evening.
