Female panther found dead in Rajasthan's Rajsamand distt

A female panther was today found dead in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan.

The carcass was spotted by people in the Khamnaur area, who informed the local police.

A team of the forest department shifted the dead panther to a veterinary hospital for postmortem.

The cause of the animal's death will be known after the postmortem, the police said.
