FIR against in-laws, husband for poisoning woman

A woman has lodged an FIR against her husband and her in-laws alleging they tried to poison her by forcing her to consume toilet cleaning liquid, police said today.

The woman got married on June 5 last year, police said.

Since then she was physically and mentally tortured, they said.

She further alleged that she was forced to consume the toilet cleaning chemcial solution, after which she was admitted to a hospital, police said.

Her husband and in-laws are absconding.

The FIR was lodged at sector-39 police station.
