Nearly two-and-a half months after a 14-year-old boy went missing, an FIR has been registered against unidentified persons for kidnapping him based on the complaint of his father, police said today.
Pradeep, a resident of Mohammadpur Shyampur village under Mirechi police station, had gone missing from the area more than two months ago.
Unable to find him, his father Amar Singh yesterday lodged an FIR against some unidentified persons for "kidnapping" his son.
The investigation has been initiated and efforts are on to nab the culprits and rescue the boy, police said.
