Fire broke out at a rubber factory in the eastern part of the city at Topsia early this morning.
Twelve fire tenders doused the flames, fire brigade officials said.
There was no report of any injury, they said.

Meanwhile, a Defence spokesperson said the fire was
expeditiously reported by the Naval Dockyard security personnel.
"One of the Naval Dockyard fire-fighting team with 7-8 personnel and a thermal imaging camera entered the building to help contain the fire," he said.
The Dockyard team provided assistance in cutting of grills for providing access to firemen and refilling water for fire-fighting, he said.
"From our personnel on ground it is learnt that there was one person initially stranded on the rooftop of the building. He was rescued by the fire brigade," the spokesperson said.
