A fire broke out in a cooperative building, housing a store of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Department, in Ganderbal district today.
The fire caused extensive damage to the CAPD store and another shop in the building at Batwani, police said.
There was no report of any injury in the incident, police said.
The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
