A huge fireball meteor passed over the skies of the UK today with an observatory saying it was by far the largest fireball ever spotted by it.
Captured at the Norman Lockyer Observatory in Devon at 02:04 am (local time), the footage shows the "bolide" meteor giving out a large orb of light.
According to Dave Jones at the UK Meteor Observation Network (UKMON), it was by far the largest captured at the Observatory.
