In separate incidents, a 12-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped for the past four months by five boys at different places at Pungunur, about 90 km from here, police said today.
The boys in the age group of 17 to 12 years were arrested today following a complaint from the girl's mother.
The woman had shifted to Pungunur from Karnataka following her husband's death three years ago.
The boys were produced before a court which sent them to a juvenile home at Tirupati, police said.
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister N. Chinarajappa, who was here to open three model police stations in Chittoor district, has condemned the crime.
