Five personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) sustained injuries today when their vehicle collided with a truck at Ramban area of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, police said.
Police and a rescue team was rushed to the spot, they said, adding that, all the five injured were admitted to District Hospital.
District Development Commissioner Ramban, Farooq Shah Bukhari, visited the injured persons and immediately asked for helicopter facility for shifting them to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment.
Injured CRPF personnel have been identified as Sub inspector Sohan Singh, Head constable Lal Thundu, constable Jasbir Singh and Jeet Kumar and CT Jasbir Singh who was driving the vehicle.
