Five killed as car falls into stream in J-K

Five persons were today killed when the car they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a stream in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said.

The incident occurred at about 7.30 AM when the five persons were travelling from Sillikot to Rustum in Uri area of Baramulla in the car, a police official said.

Four persons were killed on the spot while another died later in a hospital.

The police have registered a case in the matter.
