Five killed during Ganesh visarjan in Raj

Four young men drowned and one was electrocuted as they were immersing the idol of Lord Ganesha in a pond in Nagaur district of Rajasthan, police said today.

Govind (19), Ramniwas (22), Mukesh (25) and Manoj (22) drowned while Nirmal (35) came in contact with a hanging live wire, police said.

The bodies were handed over to their family members after postmortem.
