Five killed in Karna road accident

Five persons, including four officials of a sugar mill, were killed in a collision involving their car and a truck near a village about 120 kms from here today, police said.

Four persons died on the spot while another, the driver of the car, succumbed to injuries at a private hospital.

Four officials of Renuka Sugar Mill were returning from their company head office here to their factory after a meeting when the mishap occurred near Kerur village.
