Five youths washed away by river in Nepal feared dead

Five youths, aged between 18 and 22 have, whore were washed away by mountainous Trishuli river in eastern Nepal are now feared dead, police said here today.
Three sisters Rajani Regmi, Liza Regmi and Monika Regmi and their friends Ashmita Thapa and Janak Raut, from Chitawan district had gone to Kurintar on holiday yesterday.
The incident occurred when they went to the river after their lunch at a resort at Kurintar, 100 km west of Kathmandu.

A police rescue team started searching for them as they didn't return home yesterday. They could not be located till today afternoon and are now feared dead, police said.
Rescue operations are still on.
