Forced to take medicine, man hacks his wife to death

Forced to take medicines by his wife, a man allegedly hacked her to death and beheaded her in Muda Galib village under Mohammadi police station limits in the district this evening, police said.

The man, identified as Mustafa, was said to be suffering from some mental aliment and undergoing treatment. His 45-year-old wife, Hajra, used to press him to take medicines, they said, adding angry over this he killed her.

Mustafa's son Sikandar informed the police, who arrested him from his house.

A case of murder has been registered, police added.
