Former Congress MLA Ram Rani Jouhar dead

Former Congress MLA Ram Rani Jouhar passed away here yesterday after a prolonged illness, family sources said here today.

She was 87 and is survived by a daughter and a son.

Jouhar had represented Vijayraghavgarh and Mudwara constituencies in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly for a term each.

She had also served as president of the state Mahila Congress for two consecutive terms.
