Former I&B secy Sunil Arora appointed Prasar Bharati advisor

Former Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sunil Arora has been appointed as an advisor in public broadcaster Prasar Bharati.

A 1980-batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, Arora was the I&B secretary before he retired earlier this year.

"Arora has been appointed as an advisor in public broadcaster Prasar Bharati," a senior official told PTI.

It is learnt that the ministry had sent a proposal to Prasar Bharati some time back seeking that Arora be made an advisor, which has been accepted, sources said.
