Former MLA A C Chacko passes away

: Freedom fighter and former Congress MLA A C Chacko passed away at Thodupuzha in Idukki district following age related ailments.

He was 101 and is survived by four sons and a daughter, party sources here said.

Chacko was a member of the Travancore Cochin Legislative Assembly from 1952-56 and later represented Karimannur Assembly constituency from 1965 to 1977.
