Freedom fighter, journlaist and former Odisha MLA Sribatsa Nayak passed away here today following age related ailments.
He was 91 and survived by wife and an adopted daughter, family sources said.
Author of several books, Nayak was a prominent journalist in Dhenkanal. He worked for eradication of untouchablity and upliftment of tribals and weaker sections.
Nayak was MLA from Gondia assembly constituency in Dhenkanal district from 1974-1977.
