Four detained for possessing illegal firecrackers

Four persons were today detained by police and around 50 cartons of illegal firecrackers seized from them in Odisha's Kendrapara district, police said.

Those detained were selling fire crackers in various places under Patkura police station jurisdiction without obtaining valid permit.

The consignment of seized firecrackers are valued at overRs 4 lakh, police said.
