Four drowns in river

Four persons drowned in the

Tamirabharani river in this district, police said.

The four, hailing from Puducherry, were identified as Vasantharaj, Satheesh, Nakkeeran and Seenivasan drowned while taking bath in the river. They were in the age group of 20-25 police said.

Meanwhile, police said the bodies of three persons from Chennai, who drowned in the yesterday, have been retrieved today.
