Four injured in clash during Cong youth wing poll in Punjab

Four Youth Congress workers were injured after being attacked allegedly by supporters of another candidate during the internal polls of the Congress's youth wing, police said.

The supporters of Nikhil Kaka allegedly attacked supporters of Sandeep Malhotra with sharp-edged weapon at youth hostel, where the elections for the post of president of the youth wing's Patiala (urban) unit were going on, police said.

The injured were rushed to Rajindera Hospital, they said, adding, their condition is stated to be stable and an investigation is on in the matter.
