Four killed as car falls into gorge in Shimla

Four persons were killed when the car carrying them fell into a 500 metre-deep gorge near Gumma in Nerwa area of Shimla district today, police said.

The victims were on their way to Rohroo in Himachal Pradesh from Vikasnagar in Uttarakhand. They were residents of Chirgaon, a remote village in Rohroo here, the police said.

The deceased have been identified as Hitesh Kumar (22) Kamesh Kumar (29), Sanam Kumar (20) and Rockey Negi(24), D W Negi, SP Shimla said.
