Four men try to strangulate SDO

Four persons allegedly tried to strangulate a Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for running anti power-theft campaign.

An FIR has been registered against the four accused in this regard.

The FIR was lodged against Shakil Mohammad and three others, who allegedly tried to strangulate SDO Rajpal Singh in his office in Sadabad area here yesterday.

Singh was rushed to a hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable.

Police has arrested one of the accused and a search is on for others.
