Four of a family commit suicide

In a suspected suicide pact, four members of a farmer's family were found dead in neighbouring Tirupur District today, police said.

Kaliyappan, a farmer, was found hanging in his house in Oothupalayam village, while his wife Chandra, 13-year old daughter and 8-year old son were found dead in a nearby well.

Property dispute was stated to be the cause of the suicide, police said adding investigation was on.
