Four of marriage party killed in mishap

Four people of a marriage party were killed and an equal number injured when a lorry rammed into the commercial transportation vehicle in which they were travelling near Thattahalli in the district, police said.

The victims were returning to their village after the marriage when the mishap occurred yesterday.

Police said the truck driver lost control near a curve on the road and hit their vehicle, police and eye-witnesses said.

The injured were being treated at a hospital in B G Nagar in the district, police said.
