'Gangster' arrested for robbing passengers of roadways bus

A 'gangster' has been arrested in connection with robbing passengers of an UP roadways bus on gun-point here, police said today.

According to SHO Chaman Singh Chawda, gangster Shahbab alias Bhim was arrested yesterday in the district and several looted items were also recovered from his possession.

The three remaining members of the gang - Saddam, Agaz and Faizz - are absconding and police operation is underway to nab the accused, Chawda said.

The gang of armed men robbed several passengers of an UP roadways bus here in November 7.
