55-year-old woman commits suicide

A 55-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling at her resident in Lilon village in Shamli district, police said today.

Sarita took the extreme step yesterday. The cause behind the suicide is not known yet, police said.

The body has been sent for postmortem and the investigation is underway, they said.
