Gary Barlow apologises for tax-avoidance row

Take That frontman Gary Barlow has apologised over his alleged involvement in a tax avoidance scheme.

Barlow, 43, was accused of hiding millions from HM Revenue and Customs in a scheme run by Icebreaker management in a bid to avoid paying tax earlier this year, reported Telegraph.

He has taken to Twitter to say sorry to anyone 'offended' by the claims.

"I want to apologise to anyone who was offended by the tax stories earlier this year," he tweeted.

Barlow added shortly afterwards, "With a new team of accountants we are working to settle things with all parties involved ASAP.
