Gerard Butler to star in action film 'Den of Thieves'

Actor Gerard Butler has found himself a new action film 'Den of Thieves' after leaving 'Point Break' remake.

The film will be directed by Christian Gudegast for Relativity, reported the Wrap.

The film's story follows a legendary crew of bank robbers who plan a heist in LA's Federal Reserve under the nose of a rogue deputy.

Butler must finish Alex Proyas' 'Gods of Egypt' before he begins shooting 'Geostorm' and the sequel to 'Olympus Has Fallen'.
