A court today granted bail to five persons in a case related to the death of a 10-year-old boy under mysterious circumstances in his school here on August 1 last year.
A charge sheet in the case was submitted on February 28 wherein the investigating officer found the school management guilty of Section 304 A (causing death by negligence) and Section 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of IPC, public prosecutor Ajay Mishra said.
It was also stated that the school management was not following the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) rules, he said.
Arman Sehgal, a student of class 4, allegedly slipped and fell down outside his classroom. He suffered severe head injury due to which he became unconscious, the police said.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The victim's parents had lodged a complaint with the police against the school principal and the management in which they alleged that their son died due to their negligence.
