Ghaziabad student's death: School principal, 4 others get bail

A court today granted to five persons in a case related to the death of a 10-year-old boy under mysterious circumstances in his school here on August 1 last year.

A charge sheet in the case was submitted on February 28 wherein the investigating found the school management guilty of Section 304 A (causing death by negligence) and Section 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of IPC, said.

The court granted to school principal Kavita Sharma, Ankur Malhotra, (academics) Smita Malhotra, (finance) and

Arman Sehgal, a student of class 4, allegedly slipped and fell down outside his classroom. He suffered severe head injury due to which he became unconscious, the police said.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.

The victim's parents had lodged a complaint with the police against the school principal and the management in which they alleged that their son died due to their negligence.
