A Class VIII girl was allegedly gangraped by three youths after they abducted her from Thanabhawan town in Shamli district here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl's father was out for some work.
The three youths identified as Deepak, Satish and Joni, entered into her house and took her up to a nearby place where they took turns to rape the girl, they said.
The victim's mother was also thrashed when she tried to stop them.
Based on the complaint of the victim's family, a case has been registered against the three accused who are still at large, police said, adding investigation into the matter is on.
