An 11-year-old girl died today after a tractor ran over her head in Nanauta area here.
The girl's parents, however, did not file any complaint against the tractor driver Satar Putra Wahid after he apologised and the matter was amicably resolved.
"Wahid was turning his vehicle when his neighbour's daughter Sumeya came under the tractor and died on the spot," SP Jagdish Sharma said.
"Satar accepted his mistake and the two neighbours resolved the issued between them. The mother of the girl did not file any legal proceedings into the matter," he added.
