Girl ends life, father cremates her without informing police

A 15-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling of her room in Sandana area here following which her father cremated her without informing police.

Mohini Singh allegedly hanged herself to death yesterday over some family dispute, police said, adding her father, Deepu Singh, cremated the girl with the help of some relatives without informing them.

An FIR has been lodged in this connection and police is trying to trace Singh, who is absconding, they said.
