Girl raped by youth in UP

A girl was allegedly raped by a

youth at Hansapur village under Sakroli police station in this district.

The girl was going to her neighbour's place for some work yesterday when one Pintoo, a resident of Dhubia village in Aligarh grabbed her, police said.

Pintoo took the girl to a secluded place and raped her, they said, adding that he also threatened her not to reveal the incident to anyone.

An FIR has been registered against the accused in the incident, Inspector Santosh kumar Trivedi said.

The girl's medical examination has been done and the matter is being investigated, he added.
