Girl student hit by auto

A girl student appearinng for the

Class X board exams today was hit by an auto-rickshaw at the Haji Zakaria crossing in the metropolis, police sources said.

The student of Nani Bala Girls High School was hit by the auto-rickshaw while she was crossing the road with her mother as they were en route to the examination center in Belgachia.

The injured student was taken to the R G kar hospital where she was discharged after first aid.

She was able to sit for her examination.

The auto-rickshaw driver Shantanu Ghosh was arrested from Birati area in North Kolkata.
