Rahi said the letter highlighted the issue of Gojri with regard to its projection and promotion on All India Radio and Doordarshan Kendra's in Jammu and Kashmir.
Gojri was one of the significant languages of India and it needs special attention and encouragement of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting government of India with regard to its representation and promotion on AIR and DD channels at national level and state level, the letter mentioned.
TRCF through the letter claimed that more than 20 per cent people in the state, who speak Gojri, were completely ignored by the Doordarshan in J-K and no proper representation was provided to their art, culture, customs and secular ethos for which they are known all over the world.
