GNLF to launch stir in hills

The Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) will launch a campaign to demand 6th schedule stats for the hills.

The decision was taken at a meeting with 14 former Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council (DGHC) councilors yesterday, party spokesman N B Chhetri said.

The campaign would be started after erstwhile DGHC chief late Subash Ghisingh's funeral rites prayers on March 18, he said.
