Gogoi gives Rs 25 lakh to Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Memorial Comm

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today announced Rs 25 lakh as donation to Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Memorial Committee named after the former President.

An official release said the amount will be utilised as the corpus of the committee.

Ahmed was the President from August 24, 1974 till his death on February 11, 1977.
