Gogoi refutes speculations on his meeting with AIUDF chief

Setting aside all speculations brewing after AIUDF supremo Badruddin Ajmal's meeting with him, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today said the meeting was merely an official one and nothing more should be read between the lines.

In a statement here, Gogoi said Ajmal and his group met him at his official residence yesterday to submit a memorandum concerning D(Doubtful)-Voters, National Register of Citizens (NRC) and other issues.
