A notorious burglar was arrested today from whom stolen gold ornaments weighing 1.3 kg were seized, the police officially announced here.
A release issued by the police said that based on a tip-off, sleuths of the Commissioner's Task Force (West Zone) Team, nabbed Mir Kazam Ali Khan alias Kaju who was allegedly involved in as many as 11 burglaries besides cases of receiving stolen property from a location here.
Ali Khan used to pretend to be an electrician or technician when he visited a house for burglary in order to avoid watchmen, the release said.
Earlier, he was arrested for several property theft cases and sent to jail. After his release from jail he burgled 11 houses, the release said.
