Gold worth Rs 35 lakh seized from passenger
About 1.27 kg of gold worth approximately Rs 35 lakh was seized today by Customs officials from a passenger who arrived at nearby Karipur international airport.
The man had arrived here from Sharjah on an Air India Express flight.
The gold was found concealed in a loudspeaker in his baggage, official sources said.
