Good Friday celebrated in Mizoram

Good Friday, the anniversary of crucifixion of Jesus, was today observed in Christian-dominated Mizoram with religious fervour and solemnity.

Catholic church members took out procession in different parts of the state and held high mass in churches.

Special prayers and worship services were held in various churches of the state. Ceremonies were also performed in Presbyterian Church, the Baptist Church, the Pentecostal Church and the Salvation Army.
