Mother of late BJP leader Gopinath Munde, Limbabai Pandurang Munde passed away this morning after a brief illness.
Limbabai, 102, breathed her last at around 5 AM at her residence in Parli in Maharashtra's Beed district, family sources said.
Munde is survived by her elder son, NCP leader Pandit Anna Munde and grandchildren - state Rural Development Minister Pankaja Munde, Lok Sabha MP Pritam Munde (both daughters of late Gopinath Munde) and Leader of Opposition in state Legislative Council Dhananjay Munde (son of Pandit Anna Munde).
Limbabai's younger son and former Union Minister Gopinath Munde died in a road accident on June 3, 2014 in Delhi.
Her last rites will be performed later today.
