Barring a rise in gram and its dal prices on the back of stockists buying, rest other pulses held steady at the wholesale market today.
Traders said fresh buying by stockists following uptick in demand from retailers, mainly led to the rise in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram edged up to Rs 6,200- 6,800 from previous level of Rs 6,000-6,700 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 6,900-7,300 and Rs 7,300-7,400 per quintal respectively. Besan Shaktibhog and Rajdhani quoted higher at Rs 2,700 each instead of Rs 2,600 each per 35 kg bag.
