Groundnut oil prices dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market due to stockists selling and subdued retail demand amid good arrivals from producing belts.
While, refined palmolein and linseedoil held steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial recovered moderately on renewed demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 760 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 770, while refined palmolein were unaltered at Rs 485 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,125 from overnight close of Rs 4,100 and castoroil commercial gained Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 855 as against Rs 850 previously. However, linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 750 per 10kg.
